Project Gutenberg has compiled more than 36,000 public domain ebooks and is constantly adding more with the help of donations and volunteers. The Project Gutenberg ebooks are available in various formats compatible with a number of devices, including the Nook and Nook Color.

      Tap the “Quick Nav Arrow” to open the Quick Nav Bar. Select “Web.”

      Tap inside the address bar text field of your Web browser. An onscreen keypad appears. Type “www.gutenberg.org” into the address bar.

      Enter the title of the book you want in the “Search” text field. If you don't have a specific book in mind, browse through available titles or categories. Once you find a book you want, tap the title.

      Tap the “EPUB” format option. The book begins downloading on your Nook.

      Open your “Library” through the Quick Nav Bar.

      Tap the “My Files” icon at the top right part of the Library screen. Select “My Downloads” to access your Project Gutenberg file.
