How to Wear Girls' Head Wraps by Goody
The Goody head wrap is the ideal solution for managing both long and short hair. In addition to creating a style that requires minimal work, the head wrap controls hard-to-maintain hair that would otherwise hang in the face. Goody headbands, like other head wraps, come in a variety of different colors and sizes to accommodate both thick and thin hair. The process to use the head wrap is straightforward and uncomplicated, which makes the head wrap the ideal hair accessory for girls.

1
Brush the hair to remove any knots and tangles. Once the head wrap is in place, you may not be able to dislodge any tangles without pulling the head wrap out of your hair.
-
2
Pull the head wrap over the girl's head so it hangs around her neck. Goody products will not stretch out if pulled over the head; it will regain its snug appearance after a few moments.

3
Straighten the head wrap around the neck so the back seam is at the back of the neck. Using both hands, pull the head wrap over the face and onto the hair. Adjust the hair around the head wrap.
-
4
Create a ponytail to wear with the head wrap by brushing the hair back and securing in one of three places -- the crown, the back of the head or the nape of the neck. The head wrap will help hold any stray hairs that may not pull back into the head wrap.
-
5
Create a messy crown section by pushing the head wrap slightly forward and poofing the hair at the crown of the head. To create this look, pull the hair into a ponytail and secure at the crown or back of the head. Insert a long comb into the crown section and pull upward; do not pull the hair out of the ponytail. Use the comb, and your fingertips, to mess the hair up slightly. Secure the hair with hairspray and adjust the head wrap around the hairstyle.
-
6
Brush shorter bangs forward so they hang in the front of the headwrap. Longer bangs can also pull forward for a '70s hairstyle.

Tips & Warnings
Play around with the head wrap to find a style that suits the girl's head.
Stretching the head wrap too much may cause the elastic to break. If this occurs, the elastic strip on the interior of the wrap will need to be replaced.
