How to Decorate a Penguin Door

Take your cue from the bird itself when decorating with a penguin theme

Decorating your door with a penguin theme can be an opportunity to really let your creativity shine. Whether you're decorating for the winter holidays or simply want to spice up the entryway to your child's bedroom, decorating the door with a penguin theme can add both excitement and lightheartedness to the room.

Things You'll Need

• Construction paper
• Glue
• Scissors
• Printer
• Penguin ornament
• Penguin door stopper

Instructions

1. Print off a penguin template and trace the body of the penguin onto a piece of black construction paper. Use scissors to cut along the construction paper. Use orange construction paper to trace and cut out the penguin's feet and nose.

2. Use glue to attach the feet and nose of the penguin to the black construction paper. Cut out a white circle for the penguin's stomach and glue it on as well. You can use small white circle with black dots for the penguin's eyes as well.

3. Purchase a penguin door stopper online or at your local crafts store so you can prop the door open while staying true to the penguin theme.

4. Thread a piece of ribbon or string through a penguin ornament designed for a Christmas tree and hang it around your door knob.

5. Add penguin stickers to the door knob to complete the look of your penguin door.
