How to Troubleshoot Live Video on Ustream
Ustream is a free service that lets you broadcast live video feeds over the Internet, but sometimes your video playback may not perform up to standard quality. You can take a few troubleshooting steps to resolve bad video quality, slow streaming and audio problems. Sometimes the issue is hardware specific while at other times it is a technical issue with the software on your computer.

1
Check the video camera connected to your computer to make sure it is properly working. Record video while you are not connected to the computer or broadcasting on Ustream. If the recorded video quality is fine, then it may be a different problem.

2
Make sure the cable connecting the camera and camera is firmly plugged into both devices. Examine the cable to ensure it is not faulty or damaged. If it is, then you should replace the cable to see if that resolves the issue.
