How to Run VLC on a Netbook
Netbook computers fall into a class of portable computers that used to be called "subnotebooks." Netbooks are less expensive than traditional laptop computers because they use smaller and less expensive components. Netbooks also typically feature longer battery lifetimes due to the less-powerful hardware being used. Most netbook computers run a version of Microsoft Windows, which has limited media playback capabilities by default. The VLC media player includes support for many different media types. You can run VLC on a netbook computer to access all the different media.
