Instructions

    • 1

Twist the tulle and lay it over the mantel if you can't hook anything to the wall. If you can, create a heart shape above the mantel and hold it in place with small hooks, thumbtacks or tape.

    • 2

Add a string of lights to the tulle by twisting it in with the tulle to create a faint background glow.

    • 3

Weave silk ivy around the tulle, or place flower arrangements along the mantel. Position the vases so the tulle covers a part of the bottom of the vase. Use the bride's bouquet or flowers that match the centerpieces.

    • 4

Tuck lanterns or candle arrangements into the tulle if you don't want to use flowers. Alternatively, line the mantel with pictures of the couple throughout their relationship or wedding pictures from members of their families, such as their parents and grandparents. Themed items can also be tucked into the tulle, such as large apothecary jars filled with sand, starfish and seashells for a beach-themed wedding.
