How to Run Android OS on a Netbook
The Android X86 installation package was compiled to provide an Android operating system version for computers such as netbooks. The Android X86 project supports booting, installation and live CD features off of a USB thumb drive so you won't run into any problems with a netbook lacking an optical drive. The Android X86 operating system may not work with all of the netbook's hardware components, so you may need to reinstall a prior operating system if Android X86 does not currently support a particular device or driver.
