There are many websites that allow you to set up countdown clocks for free for either public display on your website, or private viewing. These websites allow you to create these countdown clocks quickly, and with no coding experience.

Instructions

      Open your Web browser and go to a countdown website such as TimeAndDate, OnlineClock or 7is7 Countdown Clock.

      Enter the date and time of the event you want to count down to in the provided text fields. If the event is time-sensitive, enter the starting hour, minute and second in the provided text fields. Enter an optional title in the title field.

      Click the "Save" or "View" button at the bottom of the generator to view your countdown clock privately in your browser.

      Open your Web browser and go to a free countdown widget website such as MyCountdown, MyCountdown or WiddlyTinks.

      Click the type of countdown clock you would like from the specialized options. Enter an optional title or announcement in the provided "Title" text field. Enter the date and time to count down to using the provided text fields. Use the customization options to adjust the colors and design of the widget.

      Click the "Save" button. Select and copy the generated widget code, and paste it into the HTML source code file of your website where you would like to display the countdown clock. Upload the HTML file to your website. Check the live page to see that it is displaying correctly.
