Instructions

    • 1

Measure the area where you will be installing the conduit. Run a tape measure across the room or other area where you will be installing the conduit and record the measurement so the proper amount of liquid-tight flexible conduit can be installed in your workshop or home.

Screw a three-piece fitting into the vertical 2-by-4 stud acting as the end of the wall where the metal outlet box is located. This is where the conduit will begin. Turn the threaded end of the fitting into the metal box clockwise until it is flush with the metal box.

    • 3

Slide the first piece of conduit into the end of the fitting and clamp it down with a gland nut. Slide the nut over the end of the conduit and tighten it down by hand. Attach the second piece of conduit to the first in the exact same manner. Slide on a gland nut at the end of the second piece.

Install all of the remaining pieces of conduit until the desired area has been covered. Tighten the conduit down into the three-piece fitting at the other end. Tighten the three piece fitting into the metal box at the other end to complete the installation of the liquid-tight flexible conduit.
