How to Get a Song Onto Windows Movie Maker
The soundtrack of a movie can be as important as its video content. The right soundtrack creates a distinctive ambiance, highlights important parts of the movie and adds meaning to the film. The Windows Movie Maker video editing software uses a separate audio track in its Timeline to control the songs that go on the soundtrack of your movie. Windows Movie Maker supports songs in most common digital formats, including MP3, WAV, WMA and AIFF.
