How to Convert a 2D Human Figure to 3D
A 3-D object has definition on three planes, length, width and height. Converting a 2-D human figure to a 3-D human figure is the process of adding another dimension to the figure. The figure can then be rotated on the third plane. Also, converting a 2-D figure to a 3-D figure can render it to be more life like. With Adobe Photoshop, you can convert your 2-D human figure to a 3-D human figure with its "Create Plane" function.

Click "Start," "All Programs" and double-click "Adobe Photoshop" to launch the application.

Click "File," "Open" and double-click the 2D human figure you want to convert to 3D.

Click a cutting tool and cut the human figure. Copy the figure and paste it onto a new layer.

Click on the layer and click "Filter," then "Vanishing Point."

Click "Create Plane," then click on the corners of the figure.

Press the "Ctrl" key on the keyboard and click and drag the middle point of the figure down. This will display a grid, then click and drag the points of the grid so they align with the figure.

Click the "Arrow" button at the top of the screen. Click "Return 3D Layer into Photoshop," then click "OK." This will convert the 2D human figure to 3D.
