How to Reduce the Volume of a Clip in Windows Movie Maker
By default, each individual clip you add to Windows Movie Maker will use the same default volume level in the utility. If one clip was recorded at a louder volume than another was, the audio transitioning between the two clips will make the volume sound uneven. In this case, you can reduce the volume of the louder clip so it is more balanced with the others. Use the Video Volume function to lower the volume of a clip in Windows Movie Maker.
