How to Reset a Mitsubishi TV Model WD-52725

The Mitsubishi projection TV model WD-52725 has a system reset function and an A/V reset function. The system reset is useful when the control buttons on the TV or the remote control do not work or if you can't turn off the TV. The A/V reset returns all of the audio and video settings back to the factory defaults.

      Insert the end of a paper clip into the "System Reset" hole on the front control panel of the Mitsubishi WD-52725 to press the "System Reset" button when the controls are not responding. The TV, if it is on, turns off and the "Timer" indicator light blinks.

      Wait for the "Timer" light to stop blinking, then press the "Power" button on the TV or the remote control to turn the TV on again. The "Timer" indicator light blinks for approximately one minute before turning off. You cannot turn on the TV until the light stops blinking.

      Press the "Guide" and "Format" buttons on the TV's front control panel to reset the A/V settings.
