How to Modify a Freecorder Toolbar With an XPI

Mozilla developed XPI as a plug-in file format for its Web browsing applications. The compressed installation archive is commonly used to distribute add-ons for Firefox, one of the software developer’s most popular products. A Firefox add-on is essentially a component that adds a feature not included in the Web browser's basic program installation. The Freecorder Toolbar is a Firefox add-on that enables users to record and download any digital media embedded in a Web page. Users can run the XPI for Freecorder Toolbar and modify the add-on in just a few steps.
