Enabling SPF requires entering special SPF records into the enterprise DNS servers. Configure company DNS servers to work with SPF by adding SPF records in the DNS database.

      Click the “Start” button on the Windows Server 2008 taskbar and click “All Programs.” Select “Administrative Tools” and click “DNS” in the menu that appears.

      Open the text document containing the SPF record you wish to add. Click “Edit” in the text editor window that appears. Use the mouse cursor to highlight the SPF record you wish to add. Click “Edit” and then click “Copy.”

      Right-click the DNS domain in the left pane of the “DNS Manager” window where you wish to add the SPF record. Click the “Other New Records” item in the menu that appears.

      Click “Text(TXT)” and click the “Create Record” button. Right-click on the text field in the window that appears, then click “Paste” and “OK.”
