How to Import TestGen Into Angel
TestGen is a a test generator tool that gives instructors the possibility of creating both easy and complex tests. Angel is an online course management system that allows instructors to quickly manage hundreds, even thousands, of courses. However, Angel accepts only certain formats. If you want to import TestGen tests into Angel, you must first export them from TestGen in a format understood by Angel. Due to TestGen's versatility, you can work with its tests in Angel.

Open TestGen, go to "File" and select "Open" to open your test in TestGen. You can create a new test by selecting "New" from the menu.

Go to "File," select "Change Test Type" and select "Test for the Web" to change the test type. Choose "Blackboard 6.x - 9.x (BB)" in the next window to be able to import it in Angel.

Go to "File" and select "Save as" to save the test in the new format. Give your test a new name and select a location on your hard disk drive where to save it.

Go to "File" and select "Export" to start the process of exporting the test. Select "Blackboard 6.x - 9.x" as the format and enter a name for the test. You can also add a description, but this is optional. Click "OK" to export the file.

Go to Angel, select the "Manage" tab, go to the "PSU Data Management" and click the "Import Console" link to reach the "Import New Course Content" menu.

Click on "Select the Content Package" and select "Browse" in the resulting menu. This will open a file upload window.

Click on "Browse," go to the path where you exported the TestGen test and select the file. It will have a ".zip" extension.

Click on "Open" and select "Upload File" to import the TestGen test in Angel.
