How to Decorate Plants With Tulle
If you are having your wedding in a church or other venue where there are potted plants, or you think potted plants would make an attractive part of your wedding decor, consider dressing them up. Don't let potted plants be out of place at a formal event. Tulle is inexpensive, comes in many colors and is wedding appropriate. Decorate the potted plants with tulle and they will fit in with your other decor and add some life to the decorations.

1
Lay a large square of tulle on a flat work surface. For medium to big plants, try one or two yards of tulle per plant. For smaller plants, start with a large square and trim it as needed depending on how much overhang you'd like.
-
2
Place the potted plant in the center of the square of tulle and start gathering the tulle up around the sides of the plant. Completely cover the sides of the plant and gather the tulle up around the top of the pot.

3
Tie a ribbon around the gathered tulle to secure it. The ribbon can be as long or wide as you like and create a large bow that goes around the top of the potted plant. The ends of the tulle can stick up and hang over the top of the ribbon a little bit to make it look pretty.
