How to Reinstall Preloaded Maps for the Garmin Nuvi 265

The Garmin Nuvi 265 is a global positioning system device, or GPS, that has comes with pre-loaded maps installed at the factory. The 265 is part of the Nuvi 205 GPS series. Individual maps can be disabled by adjusting the customization settings. Any of the pre-installed maps that came with the unit can be re-activated by using the settings and configuration menus.

Instructions

1. Touch the "Tools" icon.

2. Touch "Settings." Select "Map."

3. Touch "Map Info." Touch the empty box next to individual maps to enable them.

4. Touch "Restore" to restore all original map settings.
