How to Make a Text in Blender

Blender can be used to create large 3-D graphics projects. You may need to include text in a project if, for example, your project has a sign in it. You can insert text into your project and make adjustments so that the text suits your needs. Although Blender doesn’t have all of the features of a word processing program, you can add text and change its appearance using basic features such as bold and italics.

Instructions

    • 1

Open your Blender project and press the "Tab" button until you are in "Object Mode."

    • 2

Click the area in your project where you want to add text.

    • 3

Press the space bar, type "Add Text" and then click the "Add Text" option. The word "Text" appears where you clicked on the project. You can also add text by pressing the "Shift" and "A" keys simultaneously and then clicking "Text," or by clicking "Add" on the top menu bar and selecting "Text."

    • 4

Press the "Tab" key to switch to Edit Mode. A cursor appears after the last "t" in "Text."

    • 5

Press the "Backspace" key several times to delete the word "Text." Type the text you want to include.

    • 6

Click the "F" button on the right sidebar.
