How to Draw on the Android Pad

How to Draw on the Android Pad thumbnail
Android version 3.0, Honeycomb, is specifically designed for tablet computing.

Android pads, also called tablets, run on the Android software that also powers phones. Due to the larger size of the tablet screens they are better suited for drawing applications. Using an Android tablet like a drawing pad allows you to quickly sketch an idea to share, play games or even create works of art, all with a pad that will never run out. Android drawing apps are available in the Android Market.

Instructions

Unlock your Android tablet and open the application launcher. Tap the "Market" icon to launch the Android Market. Press the magnifying glass icon to open the search bar and then type in the name of the drawing app you want to install. Some popular options are: Draw!, Draw(er) and Draw Pad. Press "Enter" and then touch the entry for the app you want to install. Tap "Install" and then press "Accept and Download" to install the app. When the installation is complete, press the "Open" button.

Drag your finger across the screen in the Draw! app to draw a line. Lift your finger to stop drawing the line. You can change the settings by pressing the "Menu" button and then selecting one of the options. For example, change the color of the pen by pressing the selected pen and then dragging the color selector to the color you want. You can have two pen colors set at a time. When you're done with your drawing, press "Menu" and then "Save" to save the drawing to your gallery.

Draw(er) adds special effects to the drawing, such as a fur painter and shape tools.
