DIY Removable Backsplash

Things You'll Need
- 3/8-inch sheet of plywood
- Glazed tiles
- Liquid nails
- Strap hangers
- 100-pound wall hangers

Purchase a sheet of 3/8-inch particleboard or plywood. Use a tape measure to get the dimensions that you would like your new removable backsplash to be and use a circular saw to cut the plywood to the appropriate size.

Purchase a set of glazed tiles that match the look and feel of your kitchen. Glazed tiles will help to protect against grease and other undesirable materials that may splash up against the wall when doing dishes or cleaning.

Use liquid nails or a powerful epoxy material to glue the tiles to the plywood. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's recommendations when applying the liquid nails or epoxy.

Allow the tiles to dry. Attach straphangers to the back of the backsplash. Hang the backsplash on a set of 100-pound wall hangers or simply lean it against your kitchen wall.
