How to Use .Logonxp on LogonStudio
LogonStudio is a software program that changes the logon screen on computers running a Windows operating system. Logonxp is the file within the LogonStudio software which is the actual logon screen. Moreover, the LogonStudio software provides the ability to preview logon screens before selecting the desired screen, randomly displaying logon screens each time a user logs onto a computer, and many other useful features.

Install the LogonStudio software program on your computer.

Browse the available logon skins for the LogonStudio program. Logon skins are located at customize.org/logons/skins.

Click the desired logon skin you want to utilize. Select the “Download file” link provided on the displayed page. Download the desired logon skin to a folder on your computer. Locate and open the folder that contains the logon skin file. You should see a file titled “.logonxp,” which is the logon screen. If the desired logon skin was downloaded as a .zip file, Double-click the “File” to unzip it. Click “Extract All Files.” Click the “Next” button to continue. Select a folder where the files will be extracted. Click the “Next” button. Click the “Finish” button. The “.logonxp” file will be contained in the folder selected for the extracted files.

Open LogonStudio. Click the “Load” button. Locate the .logonxp file on the computer. Click the “Open” option. This action will load the file.

Select the logon screen you want to use from the available logons provided on the displayed window. Click the “Apply” button. This action will display a demo of the logon screen. Click the “OK” button to select the logon screen. Exit LogonStudio.
