How to Customize the Image Gallery on Android
The Image Gallery application on Android smartphones allows you to view images taken with your phone's built-in camera, or images downloaded to your device via USB cable or from the Web. You can customize the Image Gallery's view to show images in different ways, if you'd like. You can either show images as a wall of photos in the order they were taken or downloaded, or you can group photos by the date they were taken or added.

Open the app drawer on your Android smartphone, and then tap "Gallery."

Tap on a folder of images.

Tap the switch in the top right corner of the screen. This switch allows you to toggle between showing a wall of photos or grouping photos by the date and time they were taken.
