Instructions

    • 1

Place the sole of the old slipper onto the piece of foam. Draw around the edge of the of sole onto the foam with the marker pen. Cut around the outline with the scissors. Repeat to create another foam sole.

    • 2

Fold the piece of fabric in half, with the underside of the fabric facing upward. Place the foam sole on top of the fabric and draw around it with the fabric pen. Draw another line 2 centimeters bigger than the original marking. Cut out the larger marking with the scissors. Repeat this step.

    • 3

Pin two of the fabric pieces together with the underside of the fabric facing outward. Insert the edge of the fabric into the sewing machine and sew a single stitch around the edge of the fabric, leaving a 3-inch gap in the fabric. Repeat with the other two pieces of fabric.

    • 4

Pull the fabric through the hole to turn it inside out. Insert the foam sole into the hole, and arrange it so it sits flat inside the fabric. Sew the hole up with the sewing machine. Repeat with the other piece of fabric.

    • 5

Lay the the fur fabric, fur-side facing down, onto your work space. Measure and cut two strips of fur that are 1-inch wide and as long as the width of your foot plus 3 inches.

    • 6

Apply a small drop of glue to 1-inch of the underside end of the fur strip. Stick the end of the fur on the underside of the fabric sole, approximately 2 inches back from the top of the sole. Allow the glue to dry.

    • 7

Place your foot on the fabric sole. Wrap the glued piece of fabric fur over the foot and measure and mark the underside of the fir fabric where it touches the bottom of the sole. Remove your foot and apply a drop of glue to the underside of the fur fabric, after this mark. Stick the fur underneath the underside of the other-side of the sole.

    • 8

Repeat Steps 7 and 8 with another strip of fur that is positioned 4 inches back from the top of the sole.

    • 9
