How to Brush Coarse Hair to the Back
The mornings often leave little time to give your hair the care and attention it needs to meticulously style it, so brushing it back into a held-back style is a fast and easy solution when you're short on time. Things You'll Need
- Hair-moisturizing lotion
- Hard-bristled brush
- Wide-toothed comb
- Bun holder
- Hair clips

Wet your hair in the shower and comb it back with a wide-toothed comb. Carefully run the comb through the hair to avoid tearing and snags.

Squeeze a quarter-size dollop of hair-moisturizing lotion into the palm of your hand and rub your palms together.

Massage the hair-moisturizing lotion through your hair to evenly distribute the hair product.

Brush your hair from the front to the back to smooth your hair back. Slip a hair clip underneath the combed section of hair and gently push the hair clip to secure it to your hair.

Brush the opposite side of your head to pull back the hair, and secure the hair with the a hair clip.

Hold the back pieces of your hair and twist the bun holder around the hair to secure the hair in place.
