How to Make GoDaddy Private and Viable
Domain registrations through GoDaddy are set to "public" by default. This means that anyone can search your domain name and find out who registered it, including contact information such as your address and phone number. If you don’t want people to find out you registered a certain domain, set the registration to "private" to keep this information hidden. Users then only see “Domains by Proxy” as the registrar of the domain.
