How to Adjust the Text on a Nook

You can change how the text appears on a Nook with just a few taps in the Reading Tools menu. You can change the size of the text, the font used, spacing between lines and even the size of the margins. Some publishers specify how they want the text to be displayed, and this code is embedded in the e-book itself. You will have to override the defaults on these books before you can adjust the text.

Instructions

Open the book you want to read in the Nook. Tap anywhere in the middle of a page to open the Reading Tools menu. You can also open the Reading Tools menu by tapping the small arrow at the bottom of the page. The Reading Tools appear at the bottom of the page.

Look for the triangle in the Size section that appears over one of the letter A’s. This indicates the current text size. Seven A’s are arranged from smallest to largest. Increase the size of the text by clicking a letter to the right of the one that is selected. Decrease the size by clicking a letter to the left.
