How to Wire a Pocket Bike Throttle
A pocket bike is a mini racing bike about 1/4 the size of a regular motorcycle that contains an engine capable of producing between 40-50cc of power. Even though these bikes are small, they are popular all over the world, with many people staging pocket bike races on cart tracks. Like any other motor bike, the pocket bike uses a throttle to power the unit.

1
Locate the lock washer at the rear of the throttle assembly. This is the small washer that the cable connects to.
-
2
Locate the throttle cable running from the engine. It will be a thin plastic piece of tubing.

-
3
Slide the protective sheath down off of the end of the throttle cable.
-
4
Connect your throttle cable to the washer and use your wrench to tighten it.
-
5
Adjust the throttle itself as you tighten the cable. When you have achieved the desired give in the throttle, stop tightening the cable.
-
6
Slide the protective sheath back over the end of the cable so it covers both the end of the cable and the washer.
