How to Delete Forum Handles on Craigslist
Craigslist allows you to post and reply to ads online for products and services for free. In order to make posts, you must create an account with a valid email address. This email address is called your handle and is required before you can add a post. Your handle is also used when you participate in the forums on Craigslist. If you wish to delete your handle from a forum, you must change your email address. Changing your email address removes your old email address and handle name.

Click the “Account Settings” tab at the top of your Craigslist account page.

Click “Change” next to “Email Address.”

Type your new email address in the “New Email Address” field.

Type your new email address in the “Re-type New Email Address” field to confirm your email change.
