How to Cancel the Clean Cycle on a Frigidaire Oven
The Frigidaire oven is a home appliance that includes a self-cleaning feature to maintain the condition of the interior and reduce the need for manual cleaning. The self-cleaning cycle heats up the inside of the oven to an extremely high temperature to remove stains and reduce food particles to ashes. Push "Cancel" on the front of the Frigidaire oven to stop the cleaning cycle.

Wait 1 hour after canceling the cycle, and wait for the "Door" and lock image to disappear. The cleaning cycle releases a high level of heat and steam into the air, and can result in burns if caution is not taken when opening the oven's door.

Stand to the side of the oven, and slowly pull the oven door's handle toward you to open the oven.

Dampen a soft cloth with warm water, and wipe down the inside of the oven with the cleaning cloth.
