Austin City Limits Festival is an annual autumn smorgasbord of great music

The Austin City Limits Music Festival is one of the largest and most popular non-touring three-day music festivals in America. Affiliated with the long-running PBS live music show of the same name and produced by C3 Presents, the ACL Festival (as it's called locally) runs in mid-September in Zilker Park near the banks of the Colorado River in downtown Austin, Texas. Each year's festival features hundreds of bands, from up-and-coming independent musicians to some of the biggest acts in the world. Tickets are a hot commodity. If you plan to buy your tickets second-hand, be sure to validate them with the ACL Festival box office first, and never buy a wristband.

Instructions

    • 1

Ask for the ticket serial number from the second-hand seller you are purchasing from. Do this before exchanging money.

    • 2

Call 888-512-SHOW (7469) or email support@fgtcustomerservice.com to verify the serial number is valid and has not already been used to obtain a wristband.

    • 3

Purchase the ticket(s) once verified and bring the tickets, whether they were mailed or emailed and printed out, to the box office in the field across from the Barton Springs Road entrance at Lou Neff Road. This main entrance is highly visible, and the field with the box office usually also doubles as bicycle parking.

    • 4

Receive your wristband in exchange for the tickets at the box office. Once you have received your wristband, do not remove it or tamper with it in any way. A removed, torn or unusually loose wristband will be confiscated and result in no admission to the festival.

Tips & Warnings

  • There is no car parking near the venue, so plan to take a bus to the nearby Lamar Boulevard and Barton Springs Road intersection and walk or bicycle to the park from there. Shuttle buses also run regularly from nearby sanctioned parking areas around downtown Austin.

  • Never purchase a wristband from any source but the official Front Gate ticket seller. Second-hand wristbands are invalid.
