How to Change a Lamp in a Whirlpool Range
Whirlpool ranges have a light inside the oven, which illuminates the interior oven compartment. The light turns on when the oven door is opened, and off when it is closed, although you can also turn on the light using the "Oven Light" switch on the range's electronic oven control, or ERC. After regular use, the oven light will burn out and must be replaced. It is not necessary to have a service technician replace the light, as it is designed for replacement by the range owner. Does this Spark an idea?
