How to Swim in "RuneScape"
While out slaughtering monsters and traveling through the various places in "RuneScape," you've probably never thought of water as anything more than an annoyance. After all, RuneScape characters can't swim -- unless you take advantage of the swimming glitch. When you go swimming in RuneScape, you don't really gain anything -- no treasure exists within the sea -- but it is something cool that you can brag about to your RuneScape allies.

1
Go to the Trawler mini-game. You can find this game at Port Khazard. You'll need to be at least level 15 to participate in the mini-game.
-
2
Speak with Murphy before the boat begins to fill with water. Click "I've had enough, take me back" to begin sailing back to shore, then wait until he screams "We're going down!"

3
Click "Continue," then immediately open a skill interface. If you don't do this right after you click "Continue," the swimming glitch won't work.
-
4
Wait about thirty seconds. Close your skill interface, and you'll be underwater, ready to swim. In order to get back above water, you'll need to teleport to Lumbridge. When you get back to land, your character will continue "swimming" for a brief period.
