How to Donate to Causes With Facebook Credits

You can use a credit or debit card to purchase more Facebook Credits.

At the time of publication, it's still relatively uncommon for various Facebook Causes to offer the possibility of using Facebook Credits to make a donation, but it is possible if the connection has been set up. Larger organizations such as Stand Up To Cancer are already using the Credits platforms to solicit donations, and the option is projected to get even more popular across Facebook.

Instructions

1. Log in to your Facebook account with your username and password, then click "Account," "Account Settings," and then "Payments." Look at the "Credits Balance" tab to check how many Facebook Credits you currently have.

2. Click "Buy More" on the Credits page, then provide a credit or debit card number at the next screen to add money to your Facebook Credits account.

3. Navigate to the Causes page you want to donate to. If the Causes page has a Credits option, you should see a "Donate with Facebook Credits" tab somewhere on the tab.

4. Click "Pay Now" to donate to the Cause, then follow the prompts to provide the appropriate permissions to access your Facebook Credits. With just those few clicks, you have donated to the Cause of your choice.
