How to Start a Cafe Mom Group
Cafe Mom is an online social network designed for moms to connect with other mothers around the world. Actor Andrew Shue created the site, shortly after becoming a father, so working and stay-at-home mothers could share tips about motherhood, ask questions or simply socialize. One way to socialize on Cafe Mom is to create a group for a specific topic or theme. Any member can great a group, both for friends or as a public group.

Create a Cafe Mom account if you do not have one already. Click "Register" in the top corner of the site and fill out all the information. Verify the account through your email.

Log in to your account with your user name and password. Click the "Groups" tab.

Scroll down the screen and click "Create a Group."

Type a name for the group and assign it a category. Click "Next."

Set the privacy to public or private. Public is where anyone can join, while private means you can only join if you get an invite. Click "Next."

Fill in all the information about the group, such as links, about the group and a profile picture. Invite friends to join once the group is all set up.
