How to Increase Spell Mastery in "MapleStory"

You can increase Spell Mastery in "MapleStory" by becoming a Cleric and gaining levels. Each level you gain will award you ability points, which can be assigned to different spells and abilities you have learned, including Spell Mastery. Increasing Spell Mastery is useful because it increases your magical attack, which makes defeating enemies easier. Level 20 is the highest level of Spell Mastery you can attain, at which point your magic attack is given a +10 modifier.

Instructions

    • 1

Travel to areas with enemies (found throughout "MapleStory") and defeat them to gain experience. You will be alerted once you have defeated enough enemies to gain a level. Continue gaining levels until you reach level 30.

    • 2

Travel to Ellinia's Magic Library, which is located at the highest point of Ellinia. Speak to her and request that she advance you to the Cleric class. Clerics are the only class capable of learning Spell Mastery.

    • 3

Defeat monsters as a Cleric to gain more levels. Each time you level up, use your ability points on the level-up screen to increase the Spell Mastery category. Be aware that you may not always earn enough ability points with each level gain to increase your Spell Mastery.

Tips & Warnings

  • You will gain experience more quickly by defeating high-level monsters. High-level monsters typically take longer to defeat because they have more health points.

  • You will be unable to advance to the class of Cleric unless you are level 30. If you become another class, such as an Assassin, you will not be able to become a Cleric.
