How to Cut a Full-Size Piece of Plywood on a Table Saw
There are numerous methods that can be used to cut full sheets of plywood. One of the least difficult methods for doing so is with a table saw. Though most table saws don’t have large enough platforms to accommodate a full sheet of plywood, a saw horse or small table can be used to support the part of the sheet that sticks out. Cutting your plywood using a table saw will ensure a relatively quick and clean cut. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Set up your sawhorse or table next to your table saw and adjust your table saw’s blade height and guide positions as necessary for the cut you want to make. Set the sheet of plywood you want to cut on top of the table saw and the sawhorse or table. If it is too heavy, have a friend help you position it on top of them.

2
Turn on the table saw and slowly push the plywood sheet towards the saw. Keep the plywood firmly pressed upon the surface of the table saw and up against the cutting guide. Have your friend help with this if necessary. Continue moving the plywood through the blade until it has been completely cut.

Turn off the table saw and examine your cut. If it is satisfactory, put away your equipment. If not, or if you need to cut more off, repeat the previous steps until your sheet of plywood is cut to size.

Tips & Warnings
To get the best cut, it is recommended that you cut an inch or so less than you need on the first cut. Once the sheet of plywood has been made smaller, cutting the remaining inch or so will go a lot smoother, and the end result will be a smooth, accurately cut piece of plywood.
