How to Level From 60 to 80 on "WoW"
Getting your character leveled up in "World of Warcraft" can be a serious investment of your time. The grind from level 60 to level 80 can take a long time, but luckily, you've got a lot of fun quests to help you get there. As with previous levels, you'll earn XP by completing quests. Working through quests in level-appropriate areas is the only way to get your character ready for high-level raiding. To help speed up the process, find a buddy to do your leveling quests with, which will also make the leveling process much more fun.

Go to your faction's nearest capital city and go through the Portal to the Blasted Lands. Once in the Blasted Lands, step through the Dark Portal to travel to Outland. Be aware that the area around the Dark Portal is unguarded and is often a hotspot for ganking low-level characters.

Complete quests in Hellfire Peninsula and Zangarmarsh. Working through both of these zones will get you up to level 64. After that, journey to Terokkar Forest and Nagrand. You can start doing quests in Blade's Edge Mountains at level 64 as well, but this zone has some pretty tough monsters. You may want to wait with Blade's Edge until level 65 or 66. Finish your grind to 70 in Netherstorm, Shadowmoon Valley and/or the Isle of Quel'danas.

Return to the Old World once you reach level 70. It is now time to travel to Northrend. There are two alternate starting zones in Northrend. You can either enter Northrend through the Howling Fjord or the Borean Tundra. Transport to the Howling Fjord can be found in Menethil Harbor (Alliance) or Undercity (Horde). Transport to the Borean Tundra can be found in Orgrimmar (Horde) or Stormwind City (Alliance). Howling Fjord and Borean Tundra will each provide enough quests to get you to level 72. While you may prefer to take quests in both zones, in order to do more exploring, many players focus on just one zone in order to level up more efficiently.

Complete quests in Dragonblight until you reach level 73. You can either continue on in Dragonblight until level 75, or travel to Grizzly Hills. After level 75, get yourself to level 78 in either Zul'drak or Shalozar Basin. From there, finish the long grind to 80 in Icecrown and Storm Peaks. As this final push takes a long time, spread out your quests between the two areas to avoid getting bored. There are lots of important zone-phasing quests and story elements introduced in these areas as well, so you'll want to cover as much as possible in order to avoid missing out.
