How to Check a Top Up on a T-Mobile SIM
T-Mobile prepaid accounts allow you to top up or add minutes to your SIM card at any time. You can top up by purchasing prepaid cards, logging into your T-Mobile account or calling T-Mobile customer service. After topping up, you may want to check the number of minutes you have on your T-Mobile prepaid account. You can check your minutes by calling a special number on your T-Mobile phone, sending a text message from your mobile phone or using the T-Mobile website.

Dial "#646#" using the keypad on your T-Mobile phone. Press the "Send" button. Listen to the recorded message to check your prepaid account balance and the number of minutes you have left on your prepaid account.

Select the "Messages" application on your T-Mobile phone. Select "New Message" to create a new text message. Enter "150" in the "To" field of the text message. Select "Send." Open the text message that you receive from T-Mobile. The message will contain your prepaid balance and prepaid minutes remaining on your account.

Go to the T-Mobile home page. Click the "Login/Sign up" link. Enter your T-Mobile prepaid phone number and password. If you do not have a T-Mobile online account, click the "Register for my T-Mobile" link. Enter your T-Mobile phone number. T-mobile will send a text message to your phone with a temporary passcode. Return to the T-Mobile home page. Enter your T-Mobile phone number and the temporary password. Enter and confirm the new password you want to use to access your T-Mobile account online. T-Mobile will automatically log you into your account. Your account home page will display your account balance and the number of minutes you have remaining on your prepaid account.
