Instructions

    • 1

Shampoo and condition hair as usual. Blow hair out with a diffuser for both volume and curls. Spray a curling spray all over your head, then scrunch sections with your fingers while hitting sections with the diffuser. Blow dry hair until almost dry -- think slightly damp hair.

Squirt about a dime-size amount of extra-hold gel into your palm and rub your hands together. Apply the gel to your hair by scrunching hair in sections. The gel will help hold the curls in place and gives you those slightly wet Jersey curls.

    • 3

Tease sections of hair by backcombing using a fine-toothed comb for volume. Style hair as desired, using any accessories, such as hair clips and headbands, as you see fit.

Tips & Warnings

  • Pile hair in sections on the top of your head and secure with claw clips to give hair extra curl and definition. Take the clips down after an hour or more for best results.
