Business meetings are opportunities to make positive impressions on your co-workers, bosses and possibly new connections. Wearing the right attire sets the tone for the meeting, while also affirming your professional standing. While the basic suit or dress is the standard business meeting attire, adding a few charming touches and accessories creates a flawless, cute, stylish look that will leave a strong impression.

Instructions

1. Iron your business suit or skirt suit before putting it on. Create creases along the front and back of the legs on pants. Press skirts along the side seams. Business meeting clothes should always be crisp and clean to make you look stylish and put together.

2. Wear a well-tailored suit, skirt suit or business skirt. Whether you are a man or a woman, a well-fitted ensemble reflects style and polish. The suit should not sit too tightly on the body, but it should still remain close to your overall frame. Business meetings generally require a simple, dark fabric for suit basics, but a beautiful tweed or houndstooth pattern on your suit fabric will liven up the traditional business suit look. Remember to think about color, fit and texture on business dresses. They should always offer plenty of coverage on the torso, and sit near the knee in length.

3. Add accessories that reflect your personal style. Wear a classy, elegant watch. Wear a chunky bracelet, necklace or some chandelier earrings for women. 4. Wear simple makeup, such as a small amount of foundation, mascara and a little bit of lip color. Style hair to sit back and away from the face.
