DIY Football Birthday Party
Throwing a birthday party for someone in your life is even more meaningful if you can create some of the elements yourself. A football-themed birthday party is a good option when you are celebrating the birthday of someone who loves a certain team. Make invitations with a football theme, create a football cake or cupcakes and make other football decorations to create a festive birthday space. Create football party invitations that look like a ticket to a game. Cut out rectangular pieces of white card stock and place a team logo sticker on one end of the ticket. Write the party information onto the ticket.

Purchase disposable green tablecloths for your football party tables. Place white masking tape down the sides of the tablecloths so that they will be placed at the edges of your rectangular tables. Use white masking tape to create an end zone at the narrow ends of your tablecloth. Place 10 pieces of white masking tape, evenly spaced, through the middle of the tablecloth to create the yard lines. Make a tablecloth for each table you need for your party.

Cut craft paper into triangular shapes. Use craft paper in the team colors of the guest of honor's favorite team. Place team logo stickers on each triangle to create a pennant. Alternatively, write something, such as "Go Team!" on each pennant. Tape each triangle to a wooden dowel. Place the pennants inside vases to create centerpieces, add flowers in the team colors to complete the look.

Make cupcakes for the party and frost them with icing in one of the birthday boy's favorite colors. Use a pastry bag and chocolate frosting to pipe a football shape onto the cupcakes.
