Instructions

    • 1

Remove all hinges from the antique doors using a Philips screwdriver. You can also remove the knobs and locks if you wish.

    • 2

Lay the antique doors flat on the floor or a suitable work surface. Line them up in the order in which you want to connect them.

    • 3

Open a hinge and place it flat against the side of the first antique door. If you are starting with the leftmost door, place the hinge on its right side. Make sure the hinge is placed five to six inches from the top.

    • 4

Screw the hinge in place using a Philips screwdriver and wood screws. Repeat the process to attach the second hinge five to six inches from the bottom of the same side.

    • 5

Stand the antique door up against a wall. Place the next antique door beside it.

    • 6

Place the other half of each hinge against the side of the second door. If you are working from left to right, place the hinges against the left side of the second door.

    • 7

Insert the tip of a pen into the screw holes on the hinges and create a mark.

    • 8

Lay the doors back down. Screw the other half of the first divider's hinges into the second antique door.

    • 9

Stand both doors up on a hard floor, not carpet, and make sure that the bottoms of both doors touch the floor. If one is slightly lifted off the floor, unscrew the hinges on the second door, stand the door on the floor, then screw the hinges in again.

    • 10

Repeat the process until all antique doors are connected.
