How to Decorate Tan & Brown Bathrooms With Turquoise Towels

One of the easiest ways to spruce up a neutrally colored bathroom is to add a few splashes of color. Tan and brown bathrooms have a classic, elegant look. Blue tones imply a sense of peace and security. Turquoise is a blue tone that also reflects shades of green. This tone adds a sense of energy along with peacefulness. Use turquoise towels in your bathroom to create a visual "pop," which livens up the area.

Instructions

1. Choose towels that are solid turquoise or a mixture of turquoise and brown or tan. Turquoise towels that feature other colors besides brown and tan may be too much of a stretch and will probably lack continuity with the color scheme.

2. Roll some smaller towels and place them in open display shelves or in a pretty brown or tan wicker basket on the countertop.

3. Hang turquoise towels on a towel bar on the wall or on the shower door.

4. Add several other small items that feature the turquoise theme to promote the unity between the browns and tans and the turquoise colors. These types of small items could include picture frames, soaps or vases.

5. Hang artwork on the wall that incorporates the brown and tan from the walls as well as the turquoise from the towels.
