To take quality pictures in low light or no light at all requires the use of a good flash like a Polaroid external flash. As long as your camera has the connections to add an external flash, a Polaroid flash is a great solution to your lighting needs. Before trying to wire a Polaroid flash to your camera it is recommended to check your camera's owner's manual to assure that your camera can operate an external flash.

      Turn off your camera.

      Locate the flash output on your camera. It will labeled with an image of a flash or the word "Flash." Insert the end of the cord that came with the flash into the output on the camera.

      Locate the input on the Polaroid flash. It will be near the base where the flash connects to the camera. Insert the other end of the flash cord into the input on the flash.

      Turn on your camera. Your camera will recognize that there is an external flash attached to it. Take a few test pictures to assure that the flash is working. If it isn't working properly, refer to the troubleshooting guide in your owner's manual.
