How to Put an IP Helper Address on the ProCurve 2520
The HP ProCurve 2520 is a network switch designed for small to medium businesses in order to assist with deploying voice, video or wireless Internet connections that require Power over Ethernet connectivity. Each ProCurve 2520 has dual-personality Ethernet ports, which means you can use both copper or fiber cables. You can manage the ProCurve 2520 through a command line interface or graphical user interface. The IP helper address is used to transmit network traffic from a client machine over one subnet to a server with another subnet. By logging into your HP administrator's page, you can add your IP helper address.
