DIY: Rolling Machine
Many people who smoke roll their own cigarettes to save money and control the ingredients that go in them. This process is a lot easier with a rolling machine. With a rolling machine you can make perfectly formed cigarettes in a fraction of the time it would take you to roll them by hand. The simplest type of rolling machine is small enough to fit in one hand. It has two plastic rollers, each slightly larger than a cigarette, that are rolled with your fingers.

Remove one of the two rollers by pulling it up and sliding it over. Underneath the rollers is the chamber where the cigarette is rolled.

Place a filter at one end of the chamber and fill the rest with an even line of tobacco. You can use more or less tobacco depending on how tightly packed you want your cigarette, but it's important that it is evenly spaced out along the length of the chamber.

Replace the roller and spin the two rollers in the same direction. At first there will be a little resistance, but after a couple rotations. it will get smoother. Roll it three or four times around.

Place a rolling paper between the rollers with the gummed edge sticking up. Line it up with the filter which you should be able to see underneath the rollers. Spin the rollers until only a little bit of the rolling paper is showing. Lick the edge to make it sticky and continue rolling. Spin the rollers a few more times until you are sure the cigarette is well-sealed.

Remove one of the rollers again to open the chamber and retrieve your cigarette.
