How to Add a New Account in Hi5

Make additional Hi5 accounts to network with different contact groups.

The website Hi5 features collaborative online games and a virtual gift shop, in addition to its social networking features. Although you can view some public member profiles without an account, you need to create one before you can play games, purchase virtual goods and search for users. Hi5 lets users have multiple accounts if needed and provides an option to locate your friends' accounts using your email address.

Instructions

1. Visit the Hi5 website and log out if you're currently logged in to another account. Click "Join" near the top right corner of the page.

2. Type your first name, last name, email address and password in the form. Select your gender and date of birth, then click "Register!"

3. Type your email address and email password on the "Find Friends" step to look for friends who have Hi5 accounts. Click "Choose File" on the "Upload Photo" step to upload a profile image. You can also click "Skip This Step" on either of these screens if you don't want to use the features. Click "Go to Your Homepage" on the "Get Started" step. This takes you to your main page.

4. Log in to the email account you used for your Hi5 registration, then click the activation link in the message Hi5 sends you. This activates your new account and completes the registration process.

Tips & Warnings

• If you're creating a new Hi5 account to replace an old one, delete the old account. Click the "Account" link, then select "Cancel My Account" to begin the cancellation process.
