How to Connect a Camera to an RC Car
If you want to get a race car driver's perspective without putting yourself in the driver's seat of an expensive race car, you can use a digital video camera to capture footage from a radio-controlled (RC) car. You can even create a miniature set and make a short film using a camera attached to the RC car. You can review the video afterward and make edits to it so you can share the video with friends, family and RC car enthusiasts.

1
Plug in your hot glue gun and insert a stick of glue. Wait for the glue to heat up.
-
2
Find a flat space on the top of your RC car to which you can mount your tripod place. If you can, mount the plate as close to the center of the car as you can; placing it to one side may cause the car to tip over when you operate it.

3
Apply the hot glue to the bottom of the tripod plate. Press the plate onto the top of the RC car and hold it in place for 30 seconds to ensure the glue will hold the plate into place. Place the car outside to let the glue dry thoroughly.
-
4
Screw your camera onto the tripod plate and turn on the camera. Operate the RC car for a couple minutes to take a test video.
