How to Bulk Upload Products to Amazon
Instead of listing your products for sale on the Amazon website one at a time, you can use the tools provided by Amazon to upload them in bulk. This option can save you a lot of time, especially if you have a lot of products to upload. Amazon offers users who have a professional seller account free bulk upload templates that facilitates the uploading of products in bulk when used with a typical spreadsheet application.

Create a Spreadsheet

Go to the Amazon website and download a pre-built template to add your inventory to. Select a template that matches the type of products that you want to upload. For example, download the Book Loader template if your inventory consists of books.

Double-click the downloaded template file to open it in your spreadsheet application, such as Microsoft Excel.

Add your inventory to the template. Use the columns in the template to add specific information about each item in your inventory. For example, add the name of the item, its condition, its product-ID number and the price that you want to sell it for. Add as many rows as necessary until all of inventory is in the template.

Click "File" from the menu bar of the spreadsheet program, then select "Save As" from the drop-down list. The Save As dialog window opens.

Enter a name for the file in the "File Name" box, then choose the location where you want to save the file. Select "Text (Tab delimited)" or (*txt) from the "Save as Type" drop-down box. If warning boxes appear, click "OK" or "Yes."

Sign in to your Amazon seller account, then click "Upload Multiple Items" on your account dashboard.

Click the "Select a File Type" drop-down box. Select the file type from the list that corresponds to the type of template that you used. For example if you used the Price & Quantity template, select "Price & Quantity" from the list.

Click the "Purge and Replace" check box if you want to replace your entire inventory on Amazon with the products on the template. Leave the Purge and Replace check box unchecked if you want to add the products on the template to your current Amazon inventory.

Click the "Expedited Shipping" check box if you are using the UIEE template and you want to offer your customers the ability to select expedited shipping when placing their order.

Click the "Browse" button, then go to the saved template file on your computer. Click the "Upload Now" button. You will receive confirmation that the upload is successful on the File Processing page.
